Colleges for Nursing: Become a Licensed Vocational Nurse or a Registered Nurse

January 24, 2012

It is implied that you would become either a registered nurse or a licensed vocational nurse when you apply for colleges for nursing. Are you thinking of other career paths after graduation? Well, you can become a home health aide just in case you don’t feel like becoming a nurse. You can become a medical assistant if you don’t feel like taking the role of a nurse. You can even become a caregiver if you have the interest and the passion to mingle and take care of the sick and the elderly. When you enroll in a nursing school, you are, by default, setting yourself to be a nurse. You go into a nursing school to become a nurse. It can’t get more complicated than that. Again, it’s either that you become a licensed vocational nurse or you become a registered nurse. Well, you can choose other career paths. Anyway, it’s your life.
