Last month, my boss called my attention and asked me to talk to her inside her office. I work as an online sales agent of strapless heart rate monitor gadgets for an upstart company in our city. I really had no idea what my boss wanted to talk about so I became nervous about it. I knocked at her door and she let me in. She probably noticed that I was shaking while I was standing in front of her so she asked me to take a seat.
My boss informed me that according to last month’s sales report, I have not been doing well with my job. She added that I have not hit my sales target for the past three months and that if my sluggish performance continues, she may be forced to let me go. I told my boss that she does not have to let me go because I will be resigning anytime soon.
